About the event
Join us for a storytelling workshop made by and for brain injury survivors. Led by a brain injury therapist and an author/survivor, this workshop treats storytelling as something we do for ourselves and for each other — a way to speak truth about our own lives, and to feel visible, heard, and known.
Our guest of honor is Mimi Hayes, a comedian, speaker, and brain injury survivor. She is the author of the memoir I'll Be OK, It's Just a Hole in My Head. Her writing has resonated with survivors around the world, and she will be leading a dedicated writing workshop for our attendees.
