Starting July 1, 2025, Colorado Medicaid clients using CDASS services will begin transitioning to the Community First Choice (CFC) program. This change will impact federal tax exemptions for live-in and family caregivers who have been exempt from paying taxes under the Difficulty of Care (DOC) rule.
